Tiffany blue is the colour of the season, and it's easier to wear than you think.

Colour trends usually ask for a bit of a leap, whether that's the confidence to pull off head to toe cherry red or the patience to make butter yellow work without looking washed out.

Tiffany blue doesn’t really ask for either. It’s soft enough to slide into an outfit without announcing itself, and distinctive enough that people still notice when you’re wearing it, which is probably why it has become the one colour trend this season that almost nobody seems to be arguing against.

The shade itself isn’t new, and if anything, that’s part of its appeal. It’s the same soft, greenish blue Tiffany & Co. trademarked close to two centuries ago, so there’s a familiarity built into it that most trend colours don’t come with. What has changed is where you’re seeing it. It used to live almost exclusively inside a jewellery box or a shopping bag. Now it’s turning up on dresses, in nail polish, on phone cases, and taking over half the moodboards on Pinterest.

Sister Says

Wear this colour like a good perfume. A little goes a long way, and it works best as the thing people notice rather than one of five elements competing for attention.

If you’re leaning into the trend, let the silhouette do as much of the talking as the colour. A satin slip dress or anything with soft drape and movement feels right for evenings, while a structured shirt dress or tailored separates make Tiffany Blue feel surprisingly wearable during the day. If you’re drawn to richer, more turquoise-toned versions of the shade, save them for occasions where the outfit is meant to make a statement.

The beauty of Tiffany Blue is that it slips easily into a wardrobe you already own. White keeps it crisp, denim makes it feel effortless, beige and grey soften it, while black lets the colour take centre stage without competing for attention. Even chocolate brown, one of the season’s biggest neutrals, gives it a richer, more unexpected finish.

Texture changes the mood just as much as colour. Satin and silk push the shade towards evening dressing, while cotton, linen, and lightweight knits make it feel relaxed enough for brunches, office days, or weekend plans. The same applies to jewellery. Gold brings warmth to the colour, while silver gives it a cooler, more polished edge.

More than anything, this trend isn’t about replacing your wardrobe. It’s about looking at familiar pieces differently. That white shirt, your favourite pair of jeans, or the tailored trousers you wear every week probably need just one Tiffany Blue piece to feel completely refreshed. Sometimes the easiest way to embrace a colour trend isn’t with a head-to-toe look, but with one well-placed pop of colour that does all the work.

Sister Rules

  • Skip pairing it with mint or seafoam. The two shades sit close enough to clash instead of complementing each other.

  • Let the occasion decide the finish. Matte and cotton for daytime, satin and gloss for evening.

  • If you’re unsure about committing to a full piece, start with accessories. A bag, a pair of heels, or even nail polish is an easy way in.

  • Keep the rest of the accents neutral. Neon or brightly coloured accessories worn alongside it end up competing for the same attention the colour is meant to hold on its own.

TL;DR: Tiffany blue is this season’s easiest colour trend to try, calmer than butter yellow or cherry red and just distinctive enough to notice. You don’t need a full look, one dress, co-ord or accessory in the shade is enough, styled with gold for a warmer, festive feel or silver for something more work appropriate, and paired with whatever neutrals you already own.
